Make Every Marketing Decision on Accurate Data
GA4 setup, migration and configuration that shows what is working, where visitors drop off and where to invest next, with reporting you can actually use.
GA4 Only Helps When It Is Configured Properly
Google Analytics 4 records everything as events, which gives you far more flexibility than the old session-based model. It also means that nothing useful is tracked until someone decides what to track. A default install gives you page views and little else.
Common problems we find: key actions not marked as conversions, internal traffic polluting reports, cross-domain journeys splitting sessions, duplicate form events, missing ecommerce parameters and campaigns without proper UTM tagging. Each one quietly distorts the numbers that Google Ads and your own decisions rely on.
We configure GA4 around your business questions: which channels bring leads, which pages lose people, which products sell, and what the real cost per acquisition is.
Everything we configure is documented, so your team or another agency can pick it up later without guesswork.
Good analytics is a process, not a one-time install. Websites change, plugins update and campaigns launch, and each can break tracking without anyone noticing for weeks.
Documentation is part of the deliverable. You receive a measurement plan that lists every event and conversion, who owns it and where the data is used. When staff change or another agency joins, nobody has to reverse engineer what was built.
We also advise on retention and access. Event data is retained for a limited period by default, user permissions accumulate over time, and old integrations linger. A short housekeeping review keeps the property secure and tidy.

How GA4 Thinks About Your Data
GA4 organizes data around users, sessions and events. Every interaction is an event with parameters that describe it, such as the page, the button, the value or the item. You decide which events matter by marking them as key events, previously called conversions, and which parameters become custom dimensions or metrics available in reports.
Attribution deserves attention. GA4 offers data-driven and last-click models, and attributes credit across channels using the default channel grouping. If your campaigns use inconsistent UTM values, traffic lands in Unassigned or Direct and your channel report becomes unreliable. We create a naming convention for source, medium and campaign, document it, and check live campaigns against it.
Privacy changes also affect data. Consent banners, browser tracking limits and ad blockers all reduce what is recorded, so GA4 figures rarely match a CRM exactly. We aim for numbers that are consistent and directional, then reconcile them with form submissions and orders so you know the size of any gap.

GA4 Works Best With Clean Inputs
Questions We Hear Often
Universal Analytics stopped processing data in 2023, and Google has since removed access to the old data. If you exported it, we can use that export for reference, but GA4 history begins when it was installed.
Everything is an event. A conversion, now called a key event, is an event you have decided represents business value, such as a form submission or purchase.
In most cases yes, using Google Tag Manager. Some custom actions may need a small code addition, which we provide.
Attribution models, conversion windows and processing time differ between the platforms. We explain the differences and aim to align the setup so they are directionally consistent.
Yes. We build GA4 Explorations and Looker Studio reports that show the numbers your team reviews each month.
Not by itself. We can track taps on phone numbers, use call tracking tools that send events into GA4, and import call conversions into Google Ads where applicable.
